About Annabelinda

Belinda O’Hanlon and Anita Woodhead opened Annabelinda in 1971, designing and making clothes for the fascinating clientele who lived, worked and visited Oxford. A heady mix of academics, writers and artists of the day. To own, wear and be seen in an Annabelinda was the ultimate, especially the Annabelinda Ballgown. Every girl and woman desired one and every man desired the girl or woman in an unmistakable Annabelinda creation. The shop became a favorite haunt with students who either blew there grant there and then or returned when they had joined the serried ranks of movers and shakers to order the beautiful designs they had lusted after during there university days.
